If we no longer need your personal data, but you do need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data instead of deleting it.
If you have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. Our online shop uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage on your end device. They are either temporarily stored on your device for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your end device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for the processing of payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behaviour or display advertisements. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions that you have requested (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping basket function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is given. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the cookies in question will be carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the framework of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 letter b DSGVO if your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), provided that the enquiry was made.

The data sent to us by you via contact enquiries will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

5.3.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The resulting data is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). Google processes the data for website use on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is recorded:

  • Pages called up

  • Orders including the turnover and the ordered products

  • The achievement of "website objectives" (e.g. contact requests and newsletter subscriptions)

This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA. Google complies with the data protection regulations of the "EU-US Privacy Shield" agreement.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that allows you to be recognized on future visits to the site.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated User-ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form for an unlimited period.

If you do not agree with the entry, you can prevent it by installing the Browser add-ons to deactivate Google Analytics ...to stop it.

5.3.2 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform of the operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").

GMP uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to help identify which ads are being served on which browser, and to prevent them from being shown more than once.

In addition, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that relate to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a GMP ad and later, using the same browser, visits the advertiser's website and makes a purchase from that website. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of these tools and therefore inform you as follows according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of GMP, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and save your IP address. In the context of the use of GMP it can also come to a transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

In the event that personal data is transferred to Google LLC. based in the USA, Google LLC. has certified itself for the us-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU. A current certificate can be viewed here: www.privacyshield.gov/list.

Here you can find more information about the privacy policy of GMP by Google: www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data as described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time in our please Preference Centre.

5.3.3.Google Ads Remarketing

Our website uses the features of Google Ads Remarketing, which enables us to promote our websites in Google search results, as well as on third party websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). For this purpose, Google places a cookie in your device's browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit.

Any further processing of data will only take place if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and using information from your Google Account to personalize ads you view on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google when you visit our website, Google will use your information in conjunction with Google Analytics data to create and define target audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google will temporarily link your personal data with Google Analytics data to form target groups. As part of the use of Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

You can permanently disable the setting of cookies for ad preferences by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

In the event that personal data is transferred to Google LLC. with headquarters in the USA, Google LLC. has certified itself for the us-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. A current certificate can be viewed here: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list .

You can find further information and the privacy policy regarding advertising and Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

5.3.4.Google Conversion Tracking

Furthermore, we use so-called conversion tracking in the context of the use of the Google AdWords service. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer/device. These cookies expire after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking.

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(a) DPA.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case not all functions of our services may be fully available. For this purpose, we collect statistical information about you which is processed by our advertising partners. These ads are identified by the "Google Ads" link in the ad.

Google receives the information that you have visited our website. For this purpose Google uses a web beacon to place a cookie on your computer. If you are logged in with your Google account, your data can be directly assigned to it. It is possible that this data is passed on to contractual partners of Google, third parties and authorities. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

5.3.6 Facebook Retargeting (Custom Audiences)

The data entered in the newsletter registration form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The newsletters are sent via "MailChimp", a newsletter dispatch platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore MailChimp may use this data according to its own information to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimization of sending and presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact them itself or pass them on to third parties.

The privacy policy of MailChimp can be found here:https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy

Statistical survey and analyses

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file which is retrieved from the server of MailChimp when the newsletter is opened. In the context of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined by means of the IP address) or the access times.

Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor MailChimp's intention to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our contents to them or to send different contents according to the interests of our users.

Payments are processed through so-called PayPal accounts, which are virtual private or business accounts. In addition, PayPal offers the possibility to process virtual payments via credit cards if a user does not have a PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an email address, which is why there is no classic account number. PayPal makes it possible to trigger online payments to third parties or to receive payments. PayPal also assumes trustee functions and offers buyer protection services.

The European operating company of PayPal is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.

If the person concerned selects "PayPal" as a payment option during the ordering process in our online shop, data of the person concerned is automatically transmitted to PayPal. By selecting this payment option, the person concerned consents to the transfer of personal data required for payment processing.

The personal information submitted to PayPal is usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, phone number, mobile phone number or other data necessary to process payment. For the processing of the purchase contract, such personal data are also necessary in connection with the respective order.

The transmission of the data is intended for payment processing and fraud prevention. The person responsible for processing will transmit personal data to PayPal in particular if there is a legitimate interest in the transmission. The personal data exchanged between PayPal and the data controller may be transmitted by PayPal to credit reporting agencies. The purpose of this transmission is to check identity and creditworthiness.

PayPal may share personal data with affiliates and service providers or subcontractors to the extent necessary to perform its contractual obligations or where the data is to be processed under contract.

The person concerned has the possibility to revoke his or her consent to PayPal's handling of personal data at any time. Revocation does not affect personal data that must be processed, used or transmitted for the (contractual) handling of payments.

PayPal's applicable data protection regulations can be found at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.

At Klarna, we care about our customers and this also applies to you and your privacy. We always collect your personal data responsibly and with respect for your privacy.

It is important for us that you know how we process your personal data. There are various situations in which we process your information. Typical examples are:

Your identity must be confirmed before your purchase can be approved.

Depending on the chosen payment method, it may be necessary to perform a credit check.

We must prevent illegal activities such as fraud and money laundering.

For example, if you place an order with Klarna in a web shop, we must ensure that the purchase is legitimate and that it is really you who makes the purchase. Depending on the chosen payment method, it may be necessary to process your credit card details and perform a credit check. We also use your information to process your payment and send you an invoice.

Depending on the technical setup between Klarna and the web shop where you have purchased, we may need to share some of the information that has been collected. The simple reason may be that we provide your address to the retailer so they know where to send your order. The webshop may need to contact you regarding your order. Information such as your telephone number or e-mail address is helpful for this.

Klarna ensures that your personal data is collected with the greatest possible respect for your privacy. Klarna has a Global Privacy Office, where privacy experts work. In addition, we have a dedicated customer service team that acts as an extension of our Global Privacy Office to assist you with your privacy related inquiries.
